How to End Warmup in CSGO

Not everyone likes to spend ages warming up – especially when playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. If you’re reading this page, then the chances are, you’re someone that wants to know how to end warmup in CSGO.

Before every CSGO match, there will be a warm up period. Whilst some players spend this time buying items, others might use it to mess around with other players and friends. It’s also a great time between the games if you need a quick team break or toilet break. However, like adverts in your favourite TV show, sometimes they are just annoying and unnecessary and you might just want to skip the time-out period completely. That’s why in this guide, we’ll look at how you can end the warmup in CSGO.

If you are looking to skip or end the warmup period in CSGO, then the best way to do this is by using console commands. You simply need to open the Developer Console and then input one of the following commands which will effectively allow you to skip the entire warmup.

End or Skip the CSGO Warmup Command

A CSGO warmup can last anywhere between 5 seconds up to 9999 seconds – so it’s quite helpful to be able to skip it entirely if possible. Firstly, before entering any of the commands as suggested below, you need to make sure that you have enabled the Developer Console.

As soon as you have opened up and enabled the Developer Console, you can now start to look at the different commands you can use in CSGO. These commands will then apply to online games with your friends as well as playing with others in multiplayer. The commands also work if you are playing an offline game with bots. Whatever mode you are in, whatever game you want to play, the following commands will have you covered.

There are a couple of different commands you can use and here we’ll give you an explanation of what each one is and how each one works so that you know what one you use in the next game

End the Warmup in CSGO

The command for this is:

  •  mp_warmup_end

By using this command, you will simply end your warmup, no matter what else is going on at the same time. Simply enter this command directly into the Developer Console and the warmup will end straight away.

Shorten the Warmup

The command for this is:

  • mp_warmuptime SECONDS

This command is a little different from the first command. It doesn’t end the warmup straight away, you can choose how long you want to set it to in seconds. In the above command, you simply replace the word ‘SECONDS’ with how many seconds you want the warmup to be shortened to. So, for example, if your warmup is normally 60 seconds then this command can be used to shorten it down to 45 seconds by entering the command as follows:

  • mp_warmuptime 45

Generally, the standard warmup time should be set at 25 seconds.

Setting the Warmup to 10 Seconds

The command for this is:

100% up to €550

Use Promo Code WELCOME for a 100% deposit bonus.

100% first deposit bonus which means that we will add an extra 100% to the amount you deposit into your player account. The maximum amount for the bonus is €550 and the rollover requirement is x10 for betting and x30 for casino (qualified deposited amount + bonus).

  • mp_warmuptime 10

As we stated above, you are able to choose how long you want to set your warmup to. This is a simple and quick code and is the one most players like to use, setting the warmup time to 10 seconds. So, if you find that you and your teammates are constantly resetting your warmup timer to 10 seconds or desperate for it to go quickly, then this is the command you will want to use.

Ending the CSGO Warmup according to The Player Count

The command for this is:

  • mp_endwarmup_player_count PLAYERS

There are lots of different requirements that can be applied to your warmup timer. One of the requirements is the number of players that are still connected to the game. Using this command, you are able to set the warmup to end when a certain number of games have joined in with the game. So, if you want to end your warmup when 12 players have joined, you can use the following command:

  • mp_endwarmup_player_count 5

It is very simple, you just need to replace the word ‘PLAYERS’ with the number of players you would like to be connected to your game to trigger the end of the warmup.

Ending the Warmup When 5 Players are Connected

The command for this is:

  • mp_endwarmup_player_count 5

This is the most common number of players for which people tend to prefer to end their warmup. This is simply a quick command that you can use to copy and paste into your Developer Console to save you the time and effort.
